Greece has lifted capital control. It is the right time to moving to Greece
On the 26th of August, the new Premier of Greece announced: " capital controls are already past, we have been canceled capital control systems, Greece will be started a new age." It is also carrying out tax reform:
The tax reform program
1. The annual income tax rate of individuals is reduced from the 22%-45% to 9%-40%, the non-taxable amount is still 8636 euros;
2. The special solidarity tax will be cancelled if the income is over 12,000 euros;
3. The business profit tax rate will be reduced from the 28% to 24% in 2020 and will be reduce to 20% in the future.
4. Suspend VAT of the construction industry for three years;
5. The VAT rate was reduced from 24% to 22%, and other tax rates reduced from 13% to 11%. The drinks will not be add extra VAT at restaurants, bars and night clubs.
Property tax
From 2020, the owner will reduce holding tax to 20%. In 2021, the property holding tax will be reduced again to 10%.
